How To Pay Your Taxes For Form 2290

There are three methods to pay the tax:

1. Electronic funds withdrawal (Direct Debit).
2. Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS).
3. Check or money order.

How To Make Your Payment :

Electronic funds withdrawal (Direct Debit):  If you are filing Form 2290 electronically, you can authorize a direct debit to make your payment. You will be providing your bank account information like your Bank Name, Account Type, Account Number and Routing Transit Number along with your filing. The funds will be automatically debited from your Bank Account b the IRS.

EFTPS :  Using EFTPS is voluntary, but you must enroll in EFTPS before you can use it. NOTE: For EFTPS payments to be on time, you must initiate the transaction at least 1 business day before the date the payment is due.

Check or money order :  If you use this method, you must attach a check or money order along with the payment voucher and have to mail it to the IRS to :
                                         Department of the Treasury
                                         Internal Revenue Service
